A Munchkin where you play the zombies and the living are the monsters.
Who it's for
You enjoy Munchkin's cheerful backstabbing and want a zombie spin on it. Best with a group that likes banter and does not take losing seriously.
Not for you ifβ¦
You do not enjoy take-that games or arguing over card text. If you want fair, balanced competition, this is not it.
Vibe's take
Loud, petty and funny. You bargain, betray and cackle as someone else's perfect hand is ruined by your card. A game can drag when everyone is out for revenge, which is also part of the charm.
Munchkin Zombies flips the usual Munchkin script: everyone starts as a zombie, and the monsters you fight are the living, such as the Action Hero, the Soccer Mom or the Fireman. Instead of classes and races, you pick up a mojo, like Atomic Zombie, Plague Zombie or Voodoo Zombie, and you gain special powers as you level up. As in all Munchkin games, you kick down doors, fight, cheat, and stab your friends in the back with cards to be the first to level ten. It is loud, silly and deliberately unfair. Plan on a longer game with plenty of rules lawyering and lots of laughter.
