Munchkin goes to space: fight silly monsters, collect lasers, and backstab your friends to reach level 10.
Who it's for
You know and like Munchkin, or you want a space-themed version for a group that enjoys teasing and betraying each other. Bring a group that can laugh at a bit of mischief.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike backstabbing or long, chaotic endings. Players can gang up on the leader, and the last level can drag.
Vibe's take
Loud, argumentative, and full of grinning betrayal. A turn is as much about negotiating as fighting, and the final push to level 10 is always a mess.
Munchkin in space. You start at level 1 and race to level 10, kicking down doors, fighting monsters, and grabbing treasure. This time you are a Mutant, an Android, or a Cat Person, wielding Lasers, Vibroswords, and Nova Grenades against things like Fanged Fuzzballs and the Brain in a Jar. The rules are the standard Munchkin ones, with new twists such as Sidekicks, and it mixes freely with any other Munchkin set. The humor is a satire of role-playing clichΓ©s, and the heart of the game is that you can always ruin someone's day by playing a card on them. Expect arguments, bargaining, and loud laughter. Can run long when everyone is being nasty.
