Draft eight kinds of medieval tiles and combine them into the most profitable fiefdom.
Who it's for
You like tile drafting and set collection with a hint of take-that, and want a medieval economic puzzle in half an hour. Good for groups of friends who tease each other.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a peaceful, solitary build with no sniping. Rivals will take your tiles and attack your lands.
Vibe's take
Tight, puzzly and a little cutthroat. Each turn is a match of planning your own combos and hoping nobody takes the tile you wanted. Short length means quick revenge.
You run a fiefdom and its future is yours to shape. Build a board from eight kinds of tiles (fields, farms, villages, forts, markets, barracks, churches and palaces), each with its own scoring rule and each tied to the others in some way. On your turn you draft tiles, plan combinations that boost your income, reserve pieces for later and launch assaults on rival lands. Because the board changes every game, you must plan ahead while adapting to what the table does. About 30 minutes for two to five players, ages 10 and up. A puzzly medieval economy game with a mean streak.
