Send your workers into the fields, gather materials, and build a cathedral in five stages.
Who it's for
You like medium-weight Euro games with worker placement and tile placement, and you enjoy planning resources a few turns ahead. A good fit for a thoughtful group of four.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a quick, light game or lots of direct conflict. It takes around ninety minutes and rewards planning more than interaction.
Vibe's take
A thoughtful, medium-weight puzzle of placing workers and timing resource collection. You are always asking which field gives you what the next stage needs.
A cathedral is rising near Keytown, and the fields around it supply the materials. Each of you starts with five cottages, and each cottage houses a worker. Every turn, your workers step into neighboring fields to gather the resources the Keythedral needs. Construction happens in five stages, each calling for different materials, with simple ones early and more specialized ones later. Along the way your builders need food and water, and if you are lucky, wine. The board is modular, so the fields change from game to game, and you juggle placing workers, collecting sets of resources, and bidding for what you need. A mid-weight Euro game with a medieval theme and plenty to plan.
