About this game
Catan: Junior swaps sheep and wheat for pirate ships and treasure, keeping just enough of the original's DNA to feel familiar while stripping the rules down for six-year-olds. You build ships to explore new islands and pirate lairs to claim them, rolling a die each turn for resources tied to the islands you already hold, with a Ghost Captain occasionally blocking your best spot instead of stealing from you. First to build all seven lairs wins, and the whole thing wraps up fast enough that losing never really stings. A genuinely smart bridge from simple kids' games into real strategy.
