About this game
Catan Junior takes everything that makes Catan click and shrinks it down to pirate-sized portions for younger crews. You sail around a ring of tropical islands, trading goods, building pirate hideouts and ships, and racing to be the first to complete your fleet. The rules are trimmed to the essentials, the round board keeps everyone equally close to the action, and a friendly ghost captain adds just enough spooky flavor without any real threat. It plays fast enough to fit before bedtime and teaches trading and planning without a single kid feeling lost.
