Place farmers and buildings in the right spots across the Wild West plains, driven by the cards in your hand.
Who it's for
You like tile placement with area majority, a Western setting and a game that fits in under an hour with just two to four players.
Not for you if…
You want direct conflict or deep engine building. The decisions are about placement, and the theme stays in the background.
Vibe's take
Calm, spatial and a bit puzzly, with the tension of competing for the same good locations. Your hand limits your options, so each turn is a small compromise.
Oregon drops you into 1846 on the farmland of the American West. You have already arrived and the fertile plains lie before you, with coal and gold hidden in the mountains. Your job is to place farmers and buildings in the best spots: ports on lakes and rivers, churches, warehouses, post offices and train stations. Cards dictate where you can build each turn, so you are constantly squeezing the most from what your hand allows. It is a compact, family-weight strategy game, quick to set up, with area majority and tile placement doing the heavy lifting.
