A mute ghost sends picture clues at a haunted fairground, and you have six nights to solve the case.
Who it's for
You like Dixit-style picture interpretation and want a cooperative mystery with a short playtime. Great for groups who enjoy debating clues.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike ambiguous clues or want a rigorous logic puzzle. Interpretation is the whole point, so someone may find the ghost's clues baffling.
Vibe's take
Chatty, puzzling and a bit absurd: the ghost's pictures suggest ten things at once, and everyone argues what they mean. The tension rises as the six nights tick away.
A cooperative mystery set at a 1950s American fairground. The park director has vanished, and a ghost haunts the carnival. One player is the ghost and can only communicate through illustrated vision cards, while the others, the psychics, try to read them to rule out suspects and locations. You have six nights to figure out what happened, which makes it faster and smaller than the original Mysterium: here you only guess who and where. It plays two to six, takes about forty-five minutes, and is as much about laughing at wild interpretations as solving the case.
