A ghost knows exactly how they died, and you have to read the clues through tarot cards, mime and shapes on your back.
Who it's for
Murder mystery fans, Halloween game nights, and groups who like weird party mechanics mixed into real deduction.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want clean, direct information exchange, since half the fun here is deciphering deliberately vague clues.
Vibe's take
eerie, deductive, playful, communicative, tense
Paranormal Detectives puts one of you in charge of a murder, literally: the Ghost knows exactly who died, where, how, why and with what, and everyone else has to drag that story out of the beyond. Detectives take turns asking open questions, and each answer has to come through a bizarre communication method: a tarot spread, a ouija board, shapes drawn on your back, a single mimed gesture or one strange noise. When you feel ready, you guess all five answers at once. Get them all right and you win together; miss any and you only learn how many you nailed, never which ones. It's a deduction game that plays like a sΓ©ance, equal parts detective work and party game chaos.
