Stuff the dungeon with monsters or strip the hero's gear, and bluff your way into being the last one in.
Who it's for
You like bluffing games with simple rules and a bit of brain work. Best with three or four.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike player elimination or luck that punishes bold decisions. A bad draw can end your round fast.
Vibe's take
Tense and bluffy: every card you add or pass on is a signal, and everyone is secretly counting what is in the dungeon. Quick rounds, long-lasting grudges.
A push-your-luck game where you bid on how brave you are. Each round, adventurers take turns drawing a monster and either slipping it face down into the dungeon or stripping a piece of equipment from the hero instead. Once everyone else has passed, the last player standing has to fight through the dungeon with whatever gear is left. Strip too much and the hero is a pushover; stuff in too many monsters and the dungeon is nasty enough to wipe you out. It is simple to follow but full of clever, mean bluffing, and the memory aspect keeps you honest. Best with three or four, about half an hour.
