Build the most tempting dungeon in an 8-bit world and eat the heroes who dare walk in.
Who it's for
You grew up with 8-bit games, or you like a light competitive card game with room-building and a nudge of meanness.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike take-that spells, player elimination, or want deeper planning. Luck of the draw and attacks on opponents matter.
Vibe's take
Snappy and cheeky: you plan your dungeon in secret, reveal it all at once and watch the heroes pick their victim. The jokes and the retro look keep the tone light even when someone steals your hero.
You are the final boss of an old-school video game, and your job is to build a dungeon heroes cannot resist. Each turn, you add a room, and the different treasure types in your rooms lure different heroes into your halls. The heroes then walk through your dungeon, losing health as they pass your traps and monsters. If they die, you collect their souls; if they survive, you take a wound. First to ten souls wins, but five wounds and you are out. The art is a loving nod to 8-bit games, and the cards come with plenty of jokes. Expect fights over which hero walks into whose dungeon.
