Remember which moles hide where, then pull the right pair out of the grass.
Who it's for
You want a first memory game for a child around five that is a bit livelier than a plain card pairing. A good pick for families with a young player.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want challenge for adults. This is a children's memory game, and grown-ups may find twenty minutes of mole-peeking a little slow.
Vibe's take
Calm, observant and giggly. The pace is gentle, and the pleasure is in remembering the right hole before anyone else.
Up And Down is a memory game about cheeky moles that dig back and forth through the grass, peek out of their holes, and vanish again. The moles come in pairs, so the trick is to carefully note which colors appear where and then pull the right ones out of their holes. Match correctly and you collect task cards, and the player with the most shovels at the end wins. It is a gentle children's game for ages five and up, built around watching, remembering and a little bit of luck. Parents who play along will notice that small kids are often better at the remembering than the grown-ups, which is a satisfying twist for everyone at the table.
