Who it's for

Families with kids around five to eight who want a gentle cooperative game that does not turn into a tantrum over losing. Parents get a fair fight with the little ones.

Not for you if…

You want strategy or long-term planning. It is a short memory exercise, and a group of adults without kids may find it light.

Vibe's take

A giggly, slightly frantic huddle: one second you stare through a window, the next everyone argues about whether the key pointed left. Kids and adults sit at the same level because memory does not care about age.

About this game

A family of mice has moved into your house and made off with your ring, your keys, and a button, all to decorate their tiny home. In Peek-a-Mouse, everyone peers through little windows into the rooms before the flashlight runs out, then works together from memory to find where each object was and which way it faced. It is a real-time cooperative memory game for kids from about five, played in around twenty minutes. Adults get a proper brain workout too, because small children are suspiciously good at remembering where the key was. Win by finding enough objects before the mice come home.
