Draft a team of treasure hunters, then race rivals for loot that may not be what it seems.
Who it's for
You like drafting and a bit of guesswork with a lively group. Best with four players who enjoy reading each other.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want full control over your plan. Forced plays and simultaneous reveals mean surprises, and not all of them are friendly.
Vibe's take
Quick, bluffy and a bit chaotic. You guess what the others have drafted and then everything lands at once. Small gambles pay off with delightful groans.
Treasure Hunter is a drafting card game where you build a team of treasure hunters and then send them after loot across several seasons. Each round everyone gets nine cards, takes one and passes the rest left or right, so you end up with a nine-card hand and a rough idea of what your rivals hold. Then comes the catch: you must play every card you drafted, whether it helps you or not. Only two treasures are up for grabs each season, and some treasure turns out not to be treasure at all. It rewards reading the table and a bit of mischief, plays in about forty minutes and suits a lively group of up to six.
