Place tiles to grow a Tuscan Renaissance domain over three rounds in a lighter Stefan Feld puzzle.
Who it's for
You like puzzly tile-laying and Stefan Feld's style but want something less brutal. Good for two or three players who prefer low interaction.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want direct interaction, or you dislike rulebooks with quirks. The English edition's rules are known to be a bit awkward.
Vibe's take
A neat, quiet puzzle where each tile feels like a small win and the board slowly fills with connected pieces. Choices are meaningful but never overwhelming.
Tuscany in the fifteenth century, and you are a prince growing a flourishing little domain. Each round you play cards that let you place tiles on your own hex board: towns, villages, monasteries, marble quarries and delivery routes. Every tile brings new options and victory points, and the winner is whoever has the most after three rounds. It is a tile-laying puzzle with a Renaissance setting, designed by Stefan Feld as an easier entry into his style. A small caveat: the English rulebook has some translation hiccups, so a quick look at the community FAQ helps.
