Everyone places the same called tile on their own hex board and tries to complete high-scoring lines.
Who it's for
You like puzzly, calm games where everyone plays at once and nobody gets eliminated or attacked. Also a great solo puzzle.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want direct interaction or strategy that reacts to others. Each player is on their own board.
Vibe's take
Quiet, puzzly and tense in a shared-groan way. You plan alone but suffer together every time the wrong tile appears.
Everyone plays the same puzzle at the same time, each on their own hexagonal board. One person draws a tile and calls it out, say a 9-8-7, and everybody places that tile on their own board wherever they please. Each tile carries three colored, numbered lines crossing in three directions. The goal is to build unbroken lines of the same number across the board. A completed line scores its number times its length, so a run of nine-nines is a jackpot, while one mismatched tile ruins it. You don't interact, but you will sigh in unison. It can be played by as many people as you have sets, or solo, and takes around twenty minutes.
