Stack number tiles into your own skyscraper before the best spots disappear.
Who it's for
You like spatial puzzles and want something everyone plays at once without downtime. Great for a mixed group with different skill levels, since each person only fights their own layout.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want direct interaction or conflict. Everyone builds alone, so the only competition is comparing scores at the end.
Vibe's take
Quiet, simultaneous and satisfyingly tactile. Everyone fiddles with the same pieces in their own spatial puzzle, and the table sighs when the card you needed finally shows up too late.
Numbers only earn points in NMBR 9 if they sit above the ground floor, so the whole game is about building upwards. Each round a card is revealed, and everyone grabs the matching tile, a chunky number shape made of squares. You add it to your personal structure, and it has to touch another tile of the same level along a side. Tiles placed on higher levels must sit on top of at least two tiles below, with no holes underneath. Scoring multiplies each number by the level it sits on, so a tiny 9 on the roof beats a big 9 in the cellar. It is a simultaneous puzzle with no waiting, and it plays well with a crowd or solo.
