A solo or two-player tower-defense card game where every card you play costs you another card.
Who it's for
You enjoy solo card puzzles, tower-defense games and efficient resource squeezing. Perfect when you want a thirty-minute challenge by yourself.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a game with a big table presence or direct competition. It is a quiet solo/co-op puzzle, and the payment-by-cards system takes a round to click.
Vibe's take
Tight and puzzly, like a small siege where each decision removes an option. The fire rolls down the rows at a steady pace, so you always feel one wave behind. Wins feel earned.
Sylvion drops you into a dream forest that a mad Fire Elemental lord wants to burn down. It is a solo and cooperative card game with a tower-defense heart: enemy fire elementals attack in waves down four rows, and your defenses are trees, fountains and animals brave enough to help before running off. You build your deck through a unique drafting step, then play cards from your hand by paying for them with other cards in your hand, which makes every play cost you something. Hold the line through all the waves and the forest stays green. It plays in half an hour, alone or as a pair.
