About this game
Catan, but the island is the galaxy. Star Trek: Catan keeps Klaus Teuber's resource-and-trade engine and swaps in outposts at the meeting point of three planets, starships that link regions, and starbases as upgraded outposts. Planets pay out dilithium, tritanium, food, oxygen and water on a dice roll, and you trade them across the table to grow. Development cards bring points or special abilities. Anyone who knows the base game will feel at home within a turn, and fans of the series get a fun excuse to boldly settle.
