A Renaissance dice-drafting euro where the colour and number of each die shape your turn.
Who it's for
You enjoy worker placement and long euro evenings with plenty of planning. Best at four players who like to weigh options.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a quick or light game. At two hours with a rules-heavy set-up, it demands patience and a table that wants to think.
Vibe's take
Meaty and thinky. Every die you take is a choice with consequences, and you feel the squeeze as the pool empties. The satisfaction comes from fitting your plans into the dice you are given.
Signorie takes you to 15th-century Italy, where you lead one of the Renaissance's most ambitious noble families and try to take control of the cities. Each round a pool of twenty dice in five colours is rolled, and you take turns picking a die and placing it on your own city board. The colour of the die decides which action you do, and its number acts as a discount on the cost. That makes every pick a trade-off between what you need and what you leave for others. It is a heavy, long euro with worker placement, set collection and a lot of planning, so expect a full evening and a brain that feels used afterwards.
