A Bang! showdown in feudal Japan where nobody gets eliminated.
Who it's for
You like bluffing and deduction, or loved Bang! but hated sitting out. It shines with a full, talkative table.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want quiet strategy or a game that works well with three. It leans on bluffing, table talk and luck of the draw.
Vibe's take
Loud, bluffy and fast: you attack, accuse and defend in rapid turns, and everyone stays in the game until the end. The fun is in the table talk and the sneaky pivots.
Samurai Sword takes the hidden-role showdown of Bang! and moves it to feudal Japan. You secretly belong to a team, and you try to figure out who is on your side while swinging weapons at everyone else. The big difference is that nobody is eliminated: instead of dying, you lose resilience, and your honor points decide who really wins. Weapon and attack are combined into a single card, which keeps turns quick and mean. Everyone gets to fight until the final round, which makes it much friendlier to the player who gets hit first. Best with a full table of seven.
