Pebble Rock Delivery Service
Deliver parcels by boat and gamble on fast dice that wake the pirates and sharks.
Who it's for
Families with kids from about six who want a cheerful delivery game that adults will also enjoy. Also nice for a pair that likes a bit of dice-driven risk.
Not for you if…
You want heavy planning or no luck at all. The dice and the pirates can wreck your best plans, which is part of the joke.
Vibe's take
Breezy and a little cheeky: you eye the shark-infested shortcut and decide whether to risk it. The dice choice makes every turn a small bet, and the pirates add comic drama.
About this game
Pebble Rock Delivery Service puts you in a little boat on the high seas, delivering packages to the islands around Pebble Rock for Brock the Badger. Each turn you pick fast dice or slow dice: fast ones take you further but attract pirates and sharks, slow ones keep the trip calm and the haul smaller. Along the way you visit shop islands to gain equipment that gives you an edge. It is a pick-up-and-deliver game with real push-your-luck tension and enough depth that grown-ups enjoy it, while the core rules are simple enough for kids around six. Sets of two or three feel just right.
