Buy up Paris districts and buildings in a medium-weight Kramer and Kiesling Euro.
Who it's for
You like Euros with area majority and worker placement, and you want a solid evening of planning. Best at four.
Not for you if…
You want a light game or something with strong thematic drama. It plays like a clean, mathematical Euro.
Vibe's take
Calm, clean and calculating, with short turns and a long arc of planning. The competition happens in the districts, not at the table.
Paris is a Kramer and Kiesling game in the usual Euro-style: short turns, straightforward rules and a point salad of ways to score. You are a wealthy property investor in 1900s Paris, a city at its architectural peak after the World's Fair and the Eiffel Tower. You place workers, collect income, and acquire buildings in the right districts, while bonus cards pull you toward certain combinations. The modular board changes between games, and the best part is the shifting question of what a building is worth to you versus everyone else. A medium-weight game for people who like planning, and one that rewards a bit of attention to what the others are collecting.
