Who it's for

Families and mixed groups who want something tactile with genuine decisions and a strong table presence.

Not for you if…

You want the die out of it β€” a bad roll can hand a rival a fat payout regardless of your planning. Two-player games feel noticeably emptier than four.

Tactile and tense in a good-natured way β€” the die decides, but where you point Assam decides how much the die can hurt you.

About this game

You are rug sellers in a Moroccan souk. Turn Assam the merchant, roll the die, move him β€” and if he stops on a rival's carpet, you pay for every square of it. Then lay one of your own carpets next to him. When all rugs are down, visible carpet squares and coins decide the winner.
