Plot, bribe and stage coups in a banana republic until your Swiss account is the fattest.
Who it's for
You love negotiation and backstabbing and have a big group, ideally seven, for a whole evening of satirical scheming.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike long, talky games or the satire of dictators. It's rated 16+ and takes many hours.
Vibe's take
Loud, bitter and joyfully shameless. The table talk and the coup are the fun, and the stakes feel personal.
Banana-republic politics as a loud, dark farce. Each of you is a family in the Republica de los Bananas, and the aim is to have the most pesos in your Swiss bank account when the foreign-aid money runs out. A round has a rhythm: El Presidente hands out roles, foreign aid arrives, the president proposes a budget that everyone votes on, then come assassination attempts, maybe a coup, and the fallout. Talking, bribing, and plotting are the game, and it shines at the full seven. Fair warning: it's satire of dictatorship, with a rating of 16+, and it's long.
