Steer two aliens through the cornfield before the sand timer runs out.
Who it's for
You have kids from about six and want a short cooperative game that depends on talking and steady hands, with parents joining as equals.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a deeper game for adults. It is a very light children's game and wraps up in minutes.
Vibe's take
Giggly teamwork under a sand timer: everyone whispers, hesitates, and cheers when the last item is picked up. Short rounds, so you can try again right away.
Mino and Tauri are two aliens who have crash-landed in a cornfield, and they need twelve items from the field to repair their spaceship. A magnetic game board stands upright between two players, who take turns guiding the aliens through the corn without stepping out of bounds, all before the sand timer runs out. With more than two players you rotate in using coloured team cards. It is a cooperative, real-time game of hidden movement for kids from about six, where parents and children can giggle together while one tries to steer something the other cannot quite see.
