Stranded on a mysterious island, you puzzle your way to a chained boat.
Who it's for
You are new to EXIT or want a pleasant puzzle adventure with friends, and you like an island setting more than a dark castle.
Not for you if…
You want a game you can replay or a very hard challenge. The materials are consumed, and experts may find it mild.
Vibe's take
Brisk and collaborative: the team splits clues, shouts discoveries, and gets that satisfying click when a puzzle finally opens. Less brutal than the hardest EXIT titles.
EXIT: The Forgotten Island strands you on a beach with a single hope, a chained boat. The mysterious owner of the island has left puzzles scattered all over it, and your team must solve them one after another to free the boat and escape. It is a cooperative puzzle game modelled after escape rooms: riddle cards, a booklet, and a decoder disk to check your answers. The difficulty sits in the middle of the series, which makes it a friendlier choice for people who are new to the EXIT format. Like all EXIT games, it is a one-time experience that uses up its materials, for one to four players.
