Build outrageous spells from three cards and blast rival wizards until one remains.
Who it's for
You enjoy crude fantasy humor and love laughing at your own spells. A good choice for groups of four who like chaos.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike gore jokes or crude humor. The card art and text are aimed at adults, and some find it too much.
Vibe's take
Loud, rude and shouty, a game where the spell you assemble is the joke. Luck and cruelty lead, planning plays second fiddle.
A game for people who think spell books should come with a warning label. Battle wizards build spells from up to three components, so the combos get stranger and nastier the more you add, and then you fire them at each other until one wizard remains. Magic items add extra carnage on top. It is loud, rude and deliberately over the top, the sort of game where the rules are fine and the cards are the real entertainment. Plan on shouting and laughing at your own creations, because the game is as much a performance as a contest. Good luck keeping a straight face while reading the spell aloud.
