About this game
Caesar versus Pompey for control of the Roman Republic, distilled into twenty tense minutes. Draw tokens from a bag and deploy legions to provinces, trying to claim majority in enough regions to win. The chit-pull mechanism creates uncertainty about what forces you will have available, forcing adaptation every turn. Simple enough to teach in two minutes, deep enough that experienced players find real strategic depth in the placement decisions.
