About this game
boop. is a two-player abstract game on a quilted fabric bed with wooden kittens and cats. Every time you place a kitten, it goes boop: it pushes every neighboring piece one space away. Line up three kittens in a row and they graduate into cats, then get three cats in a row to win. That sounds simple, and it is, until both of you keep booping each other's pieces around. It is like herding cats, because nothing stays where you left it. Each player has eight kittens and cats, 32 pieces in all. A game lasts 20 to 30 minutes, and the cute look hides some real tactics.
