Split your sheep stack, slide across the hex board and claim the most pasture.
Who it's for
Families with kids from about seven and anyone who likes tidy abstract games with a friendly face. Great with four, but good with two as well.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a theme with story or luck-driven surprises. It is pure spatial planning and a strong player will beat a casual one.
Vibe's take
Quick, cute and surprisingly sharp. The first few moves feel loose, then the board squeezes and everyone starts thinking three steps ahead.
You build the board yourselves from four-hex tiles, then each of you plants a tall stack of sheep on an edge hex. On your turn you split off part of a stack and send it sliding in a straight line as far as it can go, leaving at least one sheep behind. The board fills up quickly, your moves narrow, and suddenly you are fighting for the last open pasture. Whoever claims the most hexes wins. Games are 15 minutes, tiles change every time, and it plays like a friendly cousin of Go with a flock of fluffy pieces. Kids as young as seven handle it well, and adults will still find real decisions.
