Blokus on a triangular grid: place all your pieces and box out everyone else.
Who it's for
You like Blokus or Tetris-style spatial puzzles and want a fresh angle. Works well as a calm, thoughtful game for three or four.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want direct conflict, bluffing or a story. Nothing here involves cards or dice, just shapes and space.
Vibe's take
Quiet, spatial and a bit sneaky. You spend most of the time staring at the board, spotting gaps, and quietly cutting off a neighbor. Rarely loud, often satisfying.
Blokus Trigon takes the Blokus idea and swaps squares for triangles. Four players each have 22 colored pieces, all built from triangles, and a hexagonal board with 486 triangular spaces. The goal is the same as in Blokus: get rid of all your pieces by placing them so they only touch your own color at the corners, while blocking everyone else from finding room. Because the shapes are triangular, the fit-this-in puzzle feels fresh even if you have played the square version a lot. It is a quiet, tactile game of space-grabbing where nobody gets eliminated and arguments are rare. You can play it alone as a solo puzzle or in teams.
