Build a gang of crooks, pull off heists, and slip past the cops.
Who it's for
Groups of three to six who want a snappy dice-and-engine game with no waiting. Also fits a solo evening.
Not for you if…
You want deep strategy or tension-free calm. Dice drive the game, and the playtime is short.
Vibe's take
Brisk and crunchy: you roll, split the dice, and everyone grabs a pair at once, so nobody sits idle. The overlapping cards turn your board into a gallery of increasingly scary criminals.
Bad Company is a heist game where you build a gang of eleven criminals on your own player board and upgrade them by laying overlapping cards on top, so their pictures change as they get new talents. Each round the active player rolls four dice and splits them into two pairs, and each pair activates one gang member. Everyone else may use one of the pairs on their own board too, so there is almost no downtime. You gather resources, complete heists, recruit new members, and dodge the police. The set-collection and contract mix is easy to grasp, and a solo mode lets you outsmart the police. Up to six players, about half an hour.
