About this game
Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition is the big, all-in World War II game of tanks, fleets and planes on a global map. The board is 24 by 46 inches and the box holds over 600 pieces. This edition adds Italy as a third Axis power and introduces the cruiser to the navy. Teams of Axis and Allies buy units, move across territories and settle fights with dice, in a campaign that plays out over many hours. Designer Larry Harris, who made the original, built it for the 50th anniversary of Avalon Hill. Two to six players, and plan for most of a day.
