Dig up Egyptian relics, trade the duplicates, and sell before the thieves strike.
Who it's for
You like set collection with a dash of risk and a theme you can picture, and want it done in about twenty minutes.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike having treasures stolen or hate luck in the draw. Sandstorms and thieves can undo careful plans.
Vibe's take
Light, greedy and full of small gambles. You constantly weigh a fat collection against the risk of losing it.
Archaeology: The Card Game sends you digging in the Egyptian desert for torn parchments, broken pots, and other relics. You draw cards from the dig site, collect matching pieces to complete sets, and decide when to sell them to the museum for cash. Trading at the market lets you swap duplicates for what you need, while sandstorms scatter your plans and thieves swipe your best finds. It is a quick set-collection game with a touch of push-your-luck: sell too early and you earn little, wait too long and someone else grabs your treasure. Best with three players.
