Solve a murder in a neon-lit future, one personal demon at a time.
Who it's for
You enjoy long, story-heavy games with strong theme and asymmetric characters, and have a group ready for a three-hour deduction evening.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a short or light game. It is a heavy, rules-rich experience and takes time to learn.
Vibe's take
Dense, atmospheric and story-driven. Every detective plays differently, and the game rewards patient players who enjoy piecing together clues.
Android is a murder investigation in a cyberpunk future, set between the city of New Angeles and the moon colony of Heinlein. You play a detective with a personal baggage problem: Louis Blaine, a crooked cop haunted by loss, or Caprice Nisei, a psychic clone fighting to be seen as human. Each round you spend action points to follow leads, call in favors and chase a conspiracy beneath the case, while juggling your private life and inner demons. You have two weeks of game time to find the killer. It is a long, story-heavy game for three to five players, around three hours.
