Hunt a monster in a moonlit 19th-century village, with heroes, dice and a lot of dread.
Who it's for
You like gothic horror, cooperative adventures and a bit of dice drama, and have about two hours. Best with four players.
Not for you ifβ¦
You prefer low-luck, tidy games. Dice rolls play a big role, and the final fight can be won or lost on a few unlucky rolls.
Vibe's take
Atmospheric, adventurous and dice-driven, with plenty of unpredictable events and rumors. Teamwork and luck both matter in the final showdown.
A Touch of Evil sets you in Shadowbrook, a small 19th-century village under a full moon where murders are piling up and something monstrous has taken residence. You play one of a handful of heroes, each with their own powers, who must work together to investigate the town, fight the creatures that crawl out of the night, and track the beast to its lair. Gossip and rumors run through the streets, and not everyone is who they seem. It is a cooperative adventure with dice-rolling, movement and monster fights, for two to eight players, around two hours.
