A hidden-identity brawl where figuring out who to trust is the whole game, and revealing yourself too soon can get you killed.
Who it's for
Groups of seven or eight who love reading people, rolling dice for combat, and the slow-burn thrill of not knowing who is actually on your side.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike player elimination or open confrontation, since being outed here often means getting ganged up on fast.
Vibe's take
suspicious, combative, escalating, social, unpredictable
Shadow Hunters drops you into a devil-haunted forest with a secret to keep: are you a Shadow, a Hunter, or an unlucky Neutral caught in between? Nobody starts out knowing who is friend or foe, and even you are not entirely sure who you should be helping. You roll dice, dodge attacks, and use a Hermit card here and there to test your suspicions, all while deciding when revealing your identity helps more than it hurts. Special powers land hard once your cover is blown, from teleporting across the board to draining blood outright, so timing your reveal is half the game. Best with a full table of seven or eight, it is loud, backstabby, and over inside an hour.
