A globe-trotting pulp adventure where you race to artifacts, fight villains and push your luck.
Who it's for
You want a long, theme-heavy adventure night and enjoy dice drama. Great for fans of old adventure films who have time to spare.
Not for you ifβ¦
You only have an hour or want tight strategy. This one takes about four hours and uses a lot of luck.
Vibe's take
Cinematic and dice-driven, with swingy moments of narrow escapes. It is long and chaotic, and everyone around the table ends up telling stories about it afterwards.
Fortune and Glory: The Cliffhanger Game drops you into the late 1930s, where the world is sliding toward war and adventurers race around the globe to beat the Nazis to powerful occult artifacts. It is a big, dice-heavy pulp adventure: you travel across a world map, explore deadly temples, fight enemies, push your luck and bring treasure back home. Solo and cooperative play are supported, and a game can run around four hours, so it is an event more than a quick round. If you love Indiana Jones style serials and do not mind a long session, this is a gloriously pulpy ride.
