A tiny flower-bouquet card duel where one player splits two cards and the other chooses.
Who it's for
You want a tiny two-player card game for a couple of minutes on a train or a cafe table. Great for couples who like gentle mind games.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want depth or variety. Eighteen cards means limited variation, and large groups will not feel much.
Vibe's take
Clever and cheeky: you try to hide a good card and tempt your opponent into a bad choice. Small box, big mind games.
In Victorian times, flowers carried secret messages, and the tussie mussie was the small bouquet that said them out loud. This tiny card game of eighteen cards turns that fad into a drafting duel played over three rounds. On your turn you peek at the top two cards of the deck and offer them to your opponent, one face-up and one face-down. They take one, you keep the other. A round ends when each player holds four cards, then you score. After three rounds the highest total wins. Small enough to fit in a pocket, mean enough to cause friendly arguments. Best with two.
