Name twelve silly creatures yourselves, then race to shout the right name when one reappears.
Who it's for
You play with kids from about four and want a game that trains memory and imagination without turning serious.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want depth. The challenge is remembering silly names, and that is all there is to it.
Vibe's take
Giggly and loud. The made-up names are half the fun, and the grown-ups usually forget them first.
Twelve cute characters with no names, and your job is to give them some. Players flip cards from the deck; when a character shows up for the first time, the one who turned it names it, and everyone tries to remember. When it appears again, the first player to call out the right name takes the card. It is memory plus reflexes, with a silly streak because the names are whatever people dream up. Made for kids from four, and adults who join in will find their own memory is the weaker one. Two to six players, about fifteen minutes.
