A pocket-sized zombie mall siege with five play modes, from co-op to playing the undead yourself.
Who it's for
You like zombie games but want something smaller than a big miniature box. Great when your group cannot decide between co-op and versus.
Not for you ifβ¦
You dislike dice luck or horror themes. The outcomes can swing hard, and the zombies are a constant presence.
Vibe's take
Frantic and dicey: you dash for the next objective while the horde creeps closer, and a bad roll can wreck a carefully laid plan. The tension comes from always being slightly out of time.
A zombie outbreak at the Echo Ridge Mall, packed into a small box. In Tiny Epic Zombies you play survivors who run around the mall, grab weapons, push your luck against the horde and try to complete three objectives. If you stall, the zombies take over the Courtyard and you lose. The box offers five modes: team up against game-controlled zombies, let another player run the undead, go for a free-for-all, or play solo. That flexibility is the real selling point. Expect a fast, tense session of about half an hour, with survivors that each have their own power and plenty of wild dice moments.
