About this game
Timeline: Americana is a trivia game that never actually tests your trivia knowledge directly, it tests your gut feeling about American history. Every card shows an invention, event or cultural milestone, but the date only appears once you commit to a spot on the shared timeline. Guess right and the card stays; guess wrong and you draw a replacement, so being close counts for nothing here. It plays in minutes, needs zero setup beyond shuffling, and somehow turns "wait, that happened before that?" into the best part of the evening. A perfect light filler for mixed groups who like a bit of good-natured arguing over dates.
