The classic route-claiming game shrunk to a fifteen-minute London map.
Who it's for
You want Ticket to Ride in a smaller box, or you want to introduce someone to the series without a long game. Good at three.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want the sprawl and long-term planning of the big map versions. This is intentionally compact.
Vibe's take
Light and quick, with the same small tension of watching someone take the route you need. A fast game that begs for a rematch.
Ticket to Ride: London is the familiar route-claiming game shrunk to a 1970s London map and a game length of about fifteen minutes. You start with seventeen double-decker buses, a couple of transport cards and one or two destination tickets. On your turn you either draw two transport cards, or take a single face-up bus, which counts as all six colors, or claim a route by discarding matching cards. If you know Ticket to Ride, you know this one; if you do not, it is one of the easiest ways in. It is quick enough to play twice in a row, and it feels like a snack version of the big train game.
