Who it's for

You have a big group and want a team game with shouting, dice and a sci-fi bridge crew fantasy. Best when eight people are around.

Not for you if…

You prefer quiet, thoughtful turns or only have two or three players. It needs at least four, and the noise is part of the design.

Vibe's take

Loud, frantic and cooperative inside each team, competitive between the two. Everyone rolls at once, so the table sounds like a bridge in meltdown. Rounds are short enough that a lost battle becomes a rematch.

About this game

Two starships, two crews, and nobody gets to sit still. In Space Cadets: Dice Duel every player runs one bridge station, rolling dice in real time alongside everyone else to feed power to the engines, steer the helm, read the sensors and raise shields. Together your team flies its ship across a grid, closes the gap to the enemy and tries to land torpedoes before the other crew does the same to you. It is team against team, so you need at least four people, and eight is the sweet spot. Expect shouted orders, dice skittering across the table and a captain who is confidently wrong at least once.
