Run a starship with friends where every seat has its own frantic job.
Who it's for
You want a team game with a lot of noise, different jobs for each seat, and a science-fiction setting. Great for a group that enjoys playing together more than optimizing alone.
Not for you ifβ¦
You prefer calm turn-by-turn thinking or short evenings. It is a long, loud game that needs a full crew, and it does not reward quiet players who like to plan in peace.
Vibe's take
Loud, hectic and wonderfully chaotic: everyone is busy with a different puzzle and shouting results to the rest of the crew. Wins feel earned by the group, and losses are mostly funny because someone fumbled their station at the worst moment.
You and your friends are the bridge crew of a starship, and nothing on board works unless everyone does their own job at the same time. One of you plots the course, another juggles the ship's power, another handles weapons and shields, and everybody is racing the clock because things are happening in real time. Your missions send you through asteroid fields and nebulae, and the ship will not wait while you argue about it. Think of a cooperative panic party where each person has a very different job in front of them and a flick of the finger can matter as much as a clever plan. Allow a good two hours.
