Dig up graves, collect skulls and out-arrange your rival monk for the Bone Collector's approval.
Who it's for
Two-player card game fans who enjoy a dark, quirky theme wrapped around a tight drafting puzzle.
Not for you ifβ¦
You need bright, cheerful themes at your table, because arranging human skulls is exactly as macabre as it sounds.
Vibe's take
quick, quirky, macabre, tense, clever
Skulls of Sedlec puts you in sandals as a novice monk tasked with the grimmest kind of home decor: arranging human skulls into the most honorable display the half-blind Bone Collector has ever seen. War and plague have left the graveyard overcrowded, so you dig up graves, draft the cards you uncover, and stack skulls into your own private arrangement. It's quick, quietly macabre and surprisingly tense for a twenty-minute card game, since the Bone Collector only crowns one winning stack, and the difference between reverent and ridiculous is razor thin.
