Move your flock to score points near the Heartthrob Ram and away from the shearer.
Who it's for
You like tactical positioning games with a silly theme and a group that can handle a few ewe puns. Fun for four players who like pushing.
Not for you if…
You want a calm, cooperative game or have rough hands on small figurines. The sheep are fragile, and the puns are non-negotiable.
Vibe's take
Light-hearted but surprisingly tactical, with a lot of positioning and pushing. The sheep pun theme keeps a straight face from lasting.
Shear Panic is a sheep game for people who enjoy a pun as much as a point. The sun is out, the grass is green, and your flock wants to play tag, hang around Roger the Heartthrob Ram, and, above all, dodge the shearer, who would very much like to take your wool. You move your sheep around a grid, shoving others aside, and score for tag, for standing near Roger, or for staying out of the scissors' reach. It plays in about 45 minutes with two to four, with small figurines that are said to be fragile, and a design that rewards planning your flock's next position. A funny theme with real tactical bite, best with four.
