Old West heroes descend into cursed mines where every tunnel might open a portal to something worse.
Who it's for
Groups who want a long-running dungeon-crawl campaign with real weight, tons of dice and miniatures on the table.
Not for you ifβ¦
You want a quick one-shot or a light evening game, because this asks for a real time commitment and rules overhead.
Vibe's take
heavy, tactical, dice-driven, atmospheric, campaign-hungry
Shadows of Brimstone: City of the Ancients drags a posse of Old West heroes down into mines that were never supposed to open. You build a lawman, gunslinger or saloon girl, then push through modular tunnels hunting demons, loot and portals to worlds that should stay shut. Combat runs on dice and tactical positioning, exploration reveals new tiles as you go, and no two delves play the same. Between adventures you haul your gear back to town, spend hard-earned gold, and gear up for whatever crawled up from the dark this time. It's a proper campaign in a box: heavy, dice-hungry, and built for repeat trips into the mine.
