Who it's for

Fans of heavy, mechanically rich strategy games who enjoy combining deck-building engines with direct territorial combat and don't shy away from a long, dense session.

Not for you if…

You want a peaceful building game or dislike direct player conflict – Schrott's zone-of-control combat means rivals can and will shoot at your position.

Vibe's take

Dense and cutthroat – every hex you claim is a hex you have to defend, and the combination of engine-building and open conflict keeps tension high across the whole game.

About this game

Schrott drops rival corporations' cyborgs onto a planet buried in centuries of scrap, now valuable again thanks to an energy source hidden beneath the junk. You'll explore irradiated zones, salvage machine parts and weapons, and build workshops, radio towers, and refineries to strengthen your position. Weld the right salvage together and you can even bring an auxiliary robot to life to help you, or sabotage your rivals, while you occupy key areas and defend them against attack.
